Sujata Ameya is a Transpersonal Psychotherapist, Relationship and Self-Actualization Coach, and Course-Director of "Art & Science of Self-Actualization" and "Art & Science of the Be-Loved".   Sujata has a private practice in Hyderabad, India and is the Founder of Inner Horizons. Currently she is also a Member, Board of Studies at the MIT-ADT University (Pune, India).

During her 5-year stay abroad, Sujata trained in Past-Life Regression with Dr. Brian Weiss, Dr. Henry Bolduc & (the late) Dr. Roger Woolger. She attended Dr. Bert Hellinger’s workshops on Family Constellations, a unique and powerful technique for trans-generational healing. Sujata has studied Kinesiology and Pranic Healing and has workshop leader certifications in 'Heal Your Life' and Hypnotherapy.

Born and brought up in Hyderabad, Sujata is a gold medallist from Osmania University for her M.A. in Psychology. She has an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, India. She is a Life Member/ Fellow of reputed professional bodies in her field. She lives in Hyderabad with her two young daughters.

For over 26 years, Sujata has facilitated the transformational journeys of over 12000 individuals, couples, parents and families.  She enables individuals to use relationship issues and life-transitions as pathways to self-discovery and self-actualization. Sujata has taught Abnormal Psychology, Psychiatry, and Counseling skills as a guest faculty in India and the USA. She facilitates corporate workshops on Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Resolution, Empathic Leadership and Mentoring Skills.

Sujata’s innovative approach to therapy & facilitation combines the best of ancient eastern wisdom and modern western psychology, notably Jungian & Eriksonian, Vedanta, Zen, Tao, Gestalt, Yoga, Art & Movement, Bodywork, Group Therapy, Psychodrama, and Process-work. Sujata is passionate about instructional design and has a natural talent for creating playful experiential activities that evoke powerful personal insights for participants.
